This 60-minute webinar for frontline practitioners, social service providers, and funders shares insights from a two-year project designed to help build financial wellness in isolated and rural First Nation communities in Manitoba and Ontario. Partnerships between First Nation communities and non-Indigenous financial empowerment  (FE) organizations facilitated delivery of requested culturally appropriate and in-person FE services. In this webinar Prosper Canada and project partners share insights from this work that might serve as examples of ways to scale financial empowerment services to interested First Nation communities across Canada.

During this webinar we:

  • Share insights from a process evaluation conducted during the project
  • Hear from non-Indigenous practitioners about ways to build and maintain partnerships for FE with First Nation communities
  • Discuss what effective FE service delivery looks like with First Nation community partners.
