Using this guide, trainers will: Develop an understanding of learning styles and the trainer’s own style so that when creating a lesson plan, the trainer can design instructional activities to encompass all learning styles; Understand the difference between adult learners and child learners so that when developing a lesson plan, the trainer will select presentation methods which best fit the needs of the adult learner; Be able to develop a lesson plan to help structure the training; Understand assessment strategies so that during the training session, the trainer will be able to measure learner understanding, engage students in the learning process and encourage independent thinking.
