This webinar presented evaluation findings from Phase Two (2023–2025) of the Building Financial Wellness in First Nations (FWFN) Project.
Participants learned about the reach, outcomes, and impacts of culturally grounded, community-based financial empowerment services.
Services were delivered in Manitoba and Ontario through trusted partnerships with local Indigenous community partners, including tax filing support, access to identification, financial literacy, financial coaching and counselling, and capacity-building initiatives.
The session explored key successes, challenges, and practical lessons learned from implementing the project. It also offered insights to inform future program design, scaling, and long-term sustainability within First Nations communities.
Attendees learned directly from project partners and had opportunity to engage through discussion and Q&A.
