This webinar will present evaluation findings from Phase Two (2023–2025) of the Building Financial Wellness in First Nations (FWFN) Project.
Participants will learn about the reach, outcomes, and impacts of culturally grounded, community-based financial empowerment services.
Services were delivered in Manitoba and Ontario through trusted partnerships with local Indigenous community partners, including tax filing support, access to identification, financial literacy, financial coaching and counselling, and capacity-building initiatives.
The session will explore key successes, challenges, and practical lessons learned from implementing the project. It will also offer insights to inform future program design, scaling, and long-term sustainability within First Nations communities.
Attendees will also hear directly from project partners and have opportunities to engage through discussion and Q&A.
