Three northern literacy organizations (NWT Literacy Council, the Yukon Literacy Coalition and Ilitaqsiniq) worked with territorial and local partners to develop or enhance non-formal learning and training programs by intentionally weaving literacy and essential skills (LES) into these programs. This resource guide will assist organizations and individuals involved in training for youth and adults. It will help you understand how embedding LES into existing learning and training programs might be a good fit for your organization.
