The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has launched Investing Academy by GetSmarterAboutMoney.ca as part of Financial Literacy Month. Learn the basics about investing, managing your money, and planning for the future. The courses are available in English or French, and include learning activities, quizzes, tips and videos. ​

This launch includes three courses, each of which would take about an hour or less to complete:

  • Investing 101
  • Managing your money
  • Planning for the future

Added in November 2024, Investing 102 is ideal for learners seeking to build on the basics of Investing 101. This free course will explain how to build a plan, invest in stocks, ESG, crypto, and how DIY investing works.

Investing 102 has five modules, each one including a short quiz. Each module will take you about ten to fifteen minutes to complete. Once you complete all modules you'll receive a certificate.
